     The Textiles Committee is a statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. The Committee was established by the Textiles Committee Act 1963 by the Parliament. The laboratory is one of the important functional divisions of the Textiles Committee which provides Textile Testing & Technical services throughout India. Textiles Committee has established 17 laboratories in various centers spread across India. The Textiles Committee has planned to set up world class Pashmina testing facility at its laboratory at Gurugram, Delhi (NCR) by procuring equipment by e-tendering process.

2.In this regard, tender in two covers viz. Technical and Commercial is invited by the Textiles Committee from bonafide manufacturers or authorized agents for the supply of Procurement of Pashmina testing equipment for laboratory of Textiles Committee at the location given in the tender document. Interpretation of the terms & conditions and other related issues in the tender would rest with the Textiles Committee only. Tenders can be downloaded from https://eprocure.gov.in/eprocure/app. Possession of valid Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) and enrollment/registration of the contractors/bidders on the e-Procurement/e-tender portal are prerequisite for e-tendering. The bidders are to submit the bids through online e-tendering system to the Tender Inviting Authority (TIA). An Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) along with Tender Document fee has to be submitted along with the tender. Tenders without EMD and Tender Document fee shall not be considered.
