Engagement of a Software Development firm for Developing a centralized Software for preparation of Data repository & Output generation for “Updating the Third Census Data on Handlooms in India”

The Secretary, Textiles Committee under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India invites sealed offers from reputed consultancy organizations having proven competence in software development and data base creation for developing centralized Software for preparation of Database & Output generation for “Updating the Third Census Data on Handlooms in India”. Under this project, the socio-economic data of around 18 lakhs weaver households across the country are collected. The RFP is meant for converting this data in the physical format into a suitable data repository in electronic form for further analysis; and developing centralized Software for generating out-put tables from the data repository.
